Cheap Barbecue Party Food Ideas - Get Invited to Every Party

1) One word -- Condiments! everyone has mustard and ketchup. Occasionally you see a lonely bottle of Frank's. But for very diminutive money or attempt you can add a rainbow of taste to your table and impress your guests. Visit a specialty store or good supermarket and pick up some bottles of unusual Bbq sauces or hot sauces for the table. Do not just paint the meat on the grill -- give your guests a choice on the table. Today's Bbq and hot sauces come in a wide variety of flavors and heat levels and there is something for (almost) everyone. Consider the food you are serving and other sauces that may complement it. If you are serving chicken Consider a white Bbq sauce or horseradish sauce. If you are serving fish Consider a sweet Barbeque sauce or a Vietnamese or Japanese fish sauce.

2) Salsa -- Not just for corn chips anymore! several years ago salsa took over the number-one-selling condiment spot in the Us from ketchup but most habitancy still think of it as just a dip for chips or a face for Mexican foods. Salsa is -- and can be -- so much more. Consider visiting a Farmers' store or specialty food store the morning of the barbecue and picking up a fresh salsa. Or better still, yet spend a diminutive time the night before the party and make a batch of homemade salsa. It's really very easy. And don't just stick to the basic tomato/pepper salsa -- be brave and try a fruit or a veggie based salsa. Select your salsa based on the meat and vegetables you will be serving and invite your guests to cover these foods for a new taste experience.

3) It's approximately embarrassing how much good will and praise can be produced by a straightforward salad. As cheap Bbq party ideas go, this is one of the best. everyone does potato and macaroni salad. Ask your friends to bring a dish and you'll probably get 3 of each. You can impress everyone to no end by production up a colorful and easy pasta or fruit salad that not only looks great but tastes great, too. Add some items off the grill into it at the last moment for an unforgettable touch.

4) Sides -- Go beyond the salad! So you've brought your impressive (though cheap) salad. But now think beyond to other side dishes. What springs to mind? If you are like most habitancy - corn on the cob comes to mind. There is nothing wrong this. But to really impress your guests think of adding one or two other unusual sides that will complement the main course. And remember that sides don't have to be just veggies. Think of the possibilities of fruits, shellfish and even meats.

5) Desserts - Why not use the fire? Okay, you gotta have a dessert. You'll probably want something cold (homemade ice cream, maybe?) and some sweets for the kids. But since the fire is still warm why not Consider really impressing your friends by production an additional dessert or two on the grill. Make homemade ice cream (always a reasonably cheap choice) And grilled dessert to go with it and you will be determined a party god for many years.

Since most Bbq parties highlight the same basic foods, these cheap party food ideas will help any weekend griller to impress their guests. Do it well and your friends will invite you to every party and beg for an invitation to yours.

How To Grill The exquisite Beef Tenderloin

If you want something distinct that hamburgers and hot dogs for your barbeque this year, then try this Bbq formula and amaze your friends. It's a pretty easy Bbq formula to follow, the beef looks great when you take it off the grill (and makes every person take notice) and it's as juicy and as tasty as cooking a perfect ribeye steak.

You need to start with a Whole Beef Tenderloin. If you can get it for a butcher... Get it from a butcher! But if you can't then you can probably find one at Sam's or Cosco.

Large Bbq Grills

Ingredients:
1 lb of Thick Sliced Smoked Bacon
8 oz Worcestershire Sauce
8 oz Soy Sauce
Kosher Salt
Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
Your popular Bbq Dry Rub

Directions:

Take your whole beef tenderloin and trim any excess fat and silver skin off of it. Trim the side or "chain" muscle off as well. You want sufficient fat to characterize flavor - but you want to take off sufficient fat and silver skin so that your seasonings and the grill can in fact perforate the meat.

Now you will season the loin with Kosher Salt, Black Pepper and Garlic Powder. A nice, thin coating on all sides will do... Just sufficient to add the right flavor you want to the beef.

Next you place the loin in a large Ziplock warehouse bag and pour in the Worcestershire and Soy Sauce. You want to marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator. Remove from the warehouse bag and drain any excess marinade from the loin.

Take the bacon and wrap colse to the loin. I use wooden skewers, that I soak in water (to avoid burning), to hold the bacon in place colse to the loin. Use one skewer for each slice of bacon going fully straight through the loin.

After you've wrapped the loin in bacon, season it very well with your Dry Rub. Just give it a nice, thin coating on all sides.

Place the loin on a Med. High Grill and begin to sear. You want to turn the loin every two minutes to avoid burning and you want to make sure you get all sides with a good sear.

The bacon will add flavor, but you can also use it a thermometer for getting the perfect cook as well. When the bacon is browned on all sides (about 15-20 min) the Loin will be a perfect medium rare.

Now you just take off it from the grill and allow it to rest for 5 minutes. This is very prominent or all the juices will run out.

After resting, slice the loin into desired sizes. I like to do a Two finger Cut because it makes for a perfect 8oz serving size.
